Discovery Southern Gem 6 days tour

Saigon is a buzzing hive of commercial activity, a dynamic metropolitan maze of tangled architecture, layers of ancient oriental and rustic colonial architecture breaking out from beneath a gleaming contemporary exterior. A short drive away is the Mekong Delta, where the mighty Mekong River, the lifeblood of South East Asia, is fractured into a thousand rivulets soaking into earthen riverbanks. Further north the beach paradise of Nha Trang is famed for its snow white beaches and sapphire seas, as well as some of the most delicious seafood in the country. The place acts as gateway to the beautiful Southern Highlands, and is located nearby natural hot spring spas. In Wlink Travel’s ‘Southern Gems’ tour, travelers will have the opportunity to experience each of these unique destinations, showcasing Southern Vietnam at its best.

Day 1: Saigon arrival (DP):   

Arrive in the bustling Southern metropolis of Ho Chi Minh City, sometimes referred to by its old moniker Saigon. Check into your hotel and rest after your long journey. Overnight is spent in Saigon.

Day 2: Mekong Delta Day Trip (B, L, G):   

Your day begins early with 7h30 collection from your hotel for the trip to Tien Giang. Upon arrival you will board a boat to escort you between the four mythical islets of Dragon, Unicorn and Phoenix, situated on the Tien River. Throughout your journey from islet to islet you will experience a range of cultural activities unique to the area. Share lunch with the locals in a local household, sip traditional herbal tea or the infamous snake wine, listen traditional Vietnamese folksongs and sample seasonal fruits. Returning back to Saigon in the late afternoon, overnight will again be in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon – Nha Trang (B, DP):   

After breakfast you will be collected and transferred to the airport for your short flight to Nha Trang. Check into the luxury resort and spend the afternoon soaking up the sun at the famous Nha Trang beach, famous for its white sands and turquoise waters.

Day 4+5: Nha Trang relaxing and exploring (B) :   

These days are spent at your leisure, with a wealth of activities for you to do:

Why not spend your first day relaxing on the beach, one of the very best Vietnam has to offer. Swim in the cool waters and let the salty water scrub the impurities from your skin, and lie and earn your holiday tan. Beach activities include parasailing, jet skiing, surfing and a children’s water park.

Hire a bicycle and ride around the city? As the city is incredibly flat, it makes for easy riding and you can cover the whole surrounding area very easily, a great way to see the sights and get your bearings around the city.

Vinpearl amusement and waterpark is just over the water from Nha Trang beach. The only way to access it is by taking a ride on the chairlift which stretches out to the island.

There are many Pagodas and ancient towers in the near area to Nha Trang, which the resort can arrange trips to by demand.

Make sure to take time out and enjoy the luxurious massage and spa facilities provided in the resort, to enjoy the sea breeze, and to take a swim in the resorts swimming pool.

Day 6: Nha Trang/Saigon departure (B, DP):   

Wake up early for a sunrise dip in the ocean before checking out of your room. Relax around the resort before your transfer arrives to take you to the airport and your flight to Saigon, as either a final or connecting destination. Your tour will end here.
