Bac Ha Market is held every Sunday and is the biggest minority peoples market in Northwest Vietnam. Alive with the bright colours and extravagant costumes of the local people, here you will meet Flower H'mong (Red H'mong), Black Dao, Tay, Nung, La Chi, Phu La and other minority groups who come from far and wide to buy and sell a wide variety of goods and livestock, to exchange news and to renew friendships.
Night 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai
20h00:  Mini bus pick up from hotel and transfer to Tran Quy Cap train station.
21h00: Train depart and sleep the nights on train. Travel time approx 9 hrs.
Day 1: Can Cau market – Bac Ha market (Saturday) (B,L,D)
Train arrival in the morning, our local guide and car will pick up for breakfast and then transfer to Can Cau market – a small market situated in a valley surrounded by mountains. Enjoy seeing boys and girls in colorful costumes – different colours of the mountains. Can Cau is a small market situated in a valley surrounded by mountains and only 7 km from China. The market epitomizes the cultural values of the minorities in remote mountainous areas in Vietnam.
Leave Can Cau market and transfer to Bac Ha. On the way, spend time visiting a village of the Flower H’Mong. Arrive in Bac Ha and check in hotel.

Day 2: Bac Ha market – Sapa (Sunday) (B,L,D)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, visit the huge Bac Ha Market where is always a riot of colorful costumes with the ethnic people: Flower H’Mong, Dao Tuyen and Phu La. All get together here to buy and sell their products. BacHa market is a big market crowded with people from many different hill-tribes. This is the most colorful market in North Vietnam. Here, you have chance to enjoy the BacHa people’s simple but unique kinds of food with special wines made from rice, cassavas, corn and different sorts of fruits such as plums, apples and peaches.
Sapa marketAfter visiting market, visit the H’Mong Kings house (King Hoang A Tuong). Visit another Ban Pho village before going to Sapa. Stop over for see the Vietnamese and Chinese Harbor Mouth in Lao Cai.

Day 3: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van village (B,L,D)
Check out hotel and start a trekking trip towards Muong Hoa valley to visit 4 villages of the H’Mong, the Dzay people (17km of trekking). Enjoy beautiful landscapes, terraced paddy fields. Experience the daily life of minorities. Have dinner and spend a night at the family.

Day 4: Sapa Coc Ly market (Tuesday) – Hanoi (B,L,D) 
Leave the village early (at 6:30 AM) for Coc Ly market where colorful ethnic people meet to sell and buy their products. Enjoy the peaceful life of 6 different minority people: Flower H’Mong, Black Dzao, Tay Dzay, Ha Nhi and Nung.
Continue on to take a boat trip along Chay River and visit the Flower H’Mong, Trung Do village and Bao Nhai town before driving to Lao Cai. Then take the night train to Hanoi. Arrive in Hanoi the next morning.
